Nikki Samonas, born Nikoletta Samonas, is a celebrated Ghanaian actress, TV presenter, entrepreneur, and humanitarian known for her dynamic presence on screen and her passion for uplifting young women. A graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a BA in Communication Design, Nikki began her journey in the creative arts early on, having previously attended the prestigious Holy Child Senior Secondary School in Cape Coast. Her creative background and academic training have greatly influenced her multifaceted career in entertainment, media, and business.
Nikki’s acting career launched in 2006 with the LnG series and has since spanned over a decade, earning her notable roles in popular films and TV series such as Beyonce 1 & 2, Queen Latifa, Wrong Number, Divert Call, The Will, V Republic, and Potato Potahto. She is also a key figure in the long-running series Guy Guy, showcasing her ability to captivate audiences with her versatility and charisma. Alongside her acting career, Nikki has stepped behind the camera, directing the short film Love at the Time of Odwira in 2014, further demonstrating her creative range.



In the world of television presenting, Nikki is equally at home. She has hosted and co-hosted a range of programs, from Rhythms and Africa Movie Review to FashionGh, Say It With Food, and TV Africa’s Breakfastlive morning show. Her on-screen magnetism also translated naturally into a successful modeling career, where she became the face of major brands such as Tigo (2007–2009), Septrin Soap, Wisdom Toothpaste, and Chris Aire Jewelry.

Beyond the limelight, Nikki is a savvy businesswoman, serving as the Business and Development Manager of Danquah and Associates since 2011 and the Director of Gamma.Ink Limited. She is also a dedicated member of the Ghana Actors Guild and the Alumni Design Group. Her leadership and entrepreneurial spirit continue to inspire many within and beyond the entertainment industry.
Nikki is equally passionate about humanitarian work. Since 2014, she has championed girl child education through the “Help Them Learn” initiative and has played a significant role as a High-Level Influencer for the UNHCR’s #DoItLuquluqu campaign, which advocates for displaced persons across Africa. Her enduring commitment to social impact and empowerment speaks to her deep-rooted values and belief in using her platform for good.
